Shipping and Delivery Policy for KGcart

At KGcart, getting your fresh vegetables, fruits, and meats to your kitchen in pristine condition is our top priority. To ensure the highest quality and freshness, we have streamlined our delivery process for our customers in and around Coonoor.
Please review our delivery schedules and options below.
1. Delivery Options and Timings
To best serve your daily cooking needs, we offer specific delivery windows based on the contents of your cart and the time you place your order.
Express Delivery (Strictly for Non-Veg Only Orders) When you need fresh meat right away, we have you covered.
- Orders containing only non-veg items qualify for our Express Delivery service.
- These orders will be delivered to your doorstep within 60 minutes of order confirmation.
- (Note: If your cart contains a mix of meat and produce, the order will default to our Standard Scheduled Delivery below).
Standard Scheduled Delivery (All Items)
For regular groceries, vegetables, fruits, and mixed carts, we operate on a strict batch-delivery schedule to ensure produce is harvested, sorted, and delivered at peak freshness:
- Morning Delivery Slot: Place your order before 9:00 AM, and it will be delivered the same day between 12:00 PM (Noon) and 1:00 PM.
- Evening Delivery Slot: Place your order before 2:00 PM, and it will be delivered the same day between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
- Next Day Delivery: Any orders placed after 2:00 PM will be automatically scheduled for the next available delivery slot (the following day between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM).
2. Delivery Area
We currently service designated PIN codes within Coonoor and the surrounding local radius. If your address falls outside our current serviceable area, the checkout process will notify you before payment.
3. Delivery Charges
- Delivery fees are calculated based on your location and total order value.
- Any applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed on the checkout page before you finalize your payment.
4. Receiving Your Order
- Freshness Guarantee: Because we deliver highly perishable goods, we strongly recommend that someone is home to receive the order during your designated delivery slot.
- Handling: Meats and fresh produce are packed separately to maintain hygiene and temperature. Please refrigerate perishable items immediately upon receipt.
- Unattended Deliveries: If our delivery partner arrives and no one is available to receive the package, we will attempt to contact you. If we cannot reach you, the order may be returned to our facility. Given the perishable nature of the items, failed deliveries due to customer unavailability may not be eligible for a refund.
5. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances
While we pride ourselves on punctuality, deliveries in hilly terrains can occasionally be impacted by severe weather, heavy rains, or unexpected traffic conditions. In the rare event of a delay, our team will promptly notify you with an updated estimated time of arrival.
