Payment Policy for KGcart

At KGcart, we are committed to providing a secure, seamless, and flexible payment experience for all your grocery and meat deliveries. This Payment Policy outlines the accepted methods of payment, security measures, and procedures for handling transaction issues.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
All prices listed on our platform are in Indian Rupees (INR). We offer a variety of secure payment options to make your checkout process as convenient as possible:
- UPI (Unified Payments Interface): Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and other supported UPI apps.
- Credit and Debit Cards: We accept major cards, including Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, and Maestro.
- Net Banking: Direct bank transfers from all major Indian banks.
- Mobile Wallets: Selected popular mobile wallets.
- Cash on Delivery (COD): Available for selected service areas. Please note that COD orders may be subject to a maximum order value limit, and we request that you keep exact change ready to assist our delivery partners.
2. Payment Security
Your security is our top priority. All online transactions are processed through highly secure, RBI-compliant third-party payment gateways.
- KGcart does not capture, process, or store your credit card numbers, CVV codes, or net banking passwords on our servers.
- All payment data is encrypted using industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to ensure your sensitive information is kept safe during transmission.
3. Payment Processing
- For online payments, your account will be charged at the time of placing the order.
- Once the payment is successful, you will receive an immediate order confirmation via email and/or SMS.
4. Failed Transactions
Occasionally, a payment may fail due to network issues, bank server downtime, or incorrect details.
- Debited but not confirmed: If your bank account is debited but you do not receive an order confirmation from KGcart, the transaction is considered failed.
- Automatic Refund: In such cases, the payment gateway automatically initiates a refund. The amount will reflect back in your original source account within 5 to 7 working days, depending on your bank's processing time.
5. Taxes and Hidden Charges
- There are no hidden charges when you purchase from KGcart.
- The prices listed for fresh vegetables, fruits, and meats are inclusive of all applicable taxes (such as GST) unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout. Delivery fees, if applicable, will be clearly displayed before you make your payment.
